No, not the anime, but you have good taste! :)

Uses the Silhouette 1 body (same as Archer, Assassin, Knight, Lancer and Priest).
The 30MF "Swordman" (the Engrish version of Swordsman) is a gladiator/Greco-roman style Class, even described as being a Colosseum fighter (apparently the world of DLRO has arenas). Described as being balanced and versatile multi-weapon fighters that function well alone or with others.

Aesthetics:
The Silhouette uses black plastic and is the darkest Silhouette so far (compared to Liber Wizard/Lancer and Rosan Assassin, which are various dark grey colors), with dark red rings and collar. It has a red transparent "fire" gem and eyes.

The gold armor is that hard and cheap looking metal injection plastic that has swirls in it, however it looks better against black, than it does against the light grey armor of the Knight (with the Holy Knight class up, for example). Additionally, the dark red of the class up helps break up the gold and makes it look less cheap.

Mechanics:
I've written this a bunch of times, but overall 30MF kits have good articulation despite single joint elbows, and this kit is no different.
I will say though, that the shoulder pauldrons/armor sits worse over the shoulders, with less clearance, easily the worst fitting shoulders of all the 9 kits that I have. Not a big deal, but a little annoying.
Unlike the Fighter, the calf armor doesn't limit the leg bend.

Equipment:
1 Fantasy styled Spatha
1 Short Sword/Dagger
1 Gold connector part - Can attach each hilt end of the two blades to make a 'double sword'
1 Ring Sheath that the sword or dagger fits into (but the C-clip is better for the short sword)
1 Round Shield or buckler with assorted grips
1 set Gold Armor - One of the most comprehensive sets, only lacking thigh plates
6 hands - Holding, fists and open palms
Assorted dark red rings with and without pegs

Conclusion:
Silhouette 1 kits have the most compatibility, as only the Wizard and Fighter have other silhouettes.
As annoying as the metal injection plastic looks, it's not that bad. It looks ostentatious and I would've preferred a darker bronze color, but it might be a material issue that may make it more brittle.
I feel like the historical association to the "Colosseum" and the obvious Greco-roman style is a little too on the nose and differentiates itself too much from the much more D&D styled fantasy-medieval 30MF kits. Still, I enjoy it, especially with the Class-up where red pieces break up all that gold.
