PG 1/60 Banshee Expansion Pack [Armed Armor VN/BS]

These are the initial loadout options that the Banshee is deployed with and is a small expansion pack for the PG Banshee Norn (often just listed as the Banshee - The Norn has the backpack 'lion's mane' and a huge shield).

The kit includes the Armed Armor Vibro Nails (the left hand claw), the Armed Armor Beam Smartgun (fold-out arm cannon) and a large water slide decal sheet, to replace the extremely disappointing sticker sheet that the PG Banshee Norn comes with.

Functionally, the pieces work fine: The extended claws are a little limited and awkward, and the two cannon halves extend a little to reveal a bit of the internal psychoframe (orange plastic) - Neither are anything special, they just change the silhouette of the model. While the Banshee can lift the claw, it can't lift the AA-BS due to its length, but it already couldn't lift its own rifle, so this is no surprise.

The parts are largely well undergated, there are just a couple of tiny marks on the gold plated 'teeth'.

Both weapons and the shield (comes with the Banshee) use the forearm slots on the Banshee, so you have to choose. The only way to have all three on, is to have the shield on the back, using the adapter - Otherwise you're going to have to heavily modify something.
I'm not sure if you can hold the beam magnum in the left claw hand, but I don't think there's room, I haven't tried - Obviously when the AA-BS is folded up, the right hand is free to hold the rifle, so you always have that option.

Because this is a "premium bandai" exclusive and an import, it's heavily marked up - The MSRP is 4400 yen or roughly 178DKK, which is just over a fifth of the listed price, so you are not getting your money's worth by any means, this is only if you really, really want to modify your Banshee a little and also get decals.
If you just want decals, get third party ones instead, especially since Bandai's own often don't stay on that well (use a topcoat to secure them).

Like the title said, this should've all just been included in the kit - Anyone would've been happy to pay a tiny bit more for the options to be included and there was room in the box.

I've paid a total of 3.936DKK for the model, official LEDs, expansion and extra decals, which is PGU Nu territory (4.599DKK).
To be fair, this is the result and price of import, only a handful of people have any of this, so far from Japan, so you are essentially paying for exclusivity.

But if you ask me if I would recommend it, my answer is a resounding 'no', get a PGU Nu instead if you can (the two kits are completely incomparable, the PGU blows everything out of the water), the much simpler but still great looking MEGA SIZE Unicorn or just the PG by itself, do not buy any of this unless you have the money to spare.
