30MM has a lot of weird expansion kits, but for me this is one of the more fun ones. You tell me, what other kits have a rocket that is also a segmented arm?
The main intent here is to fit the Spinatio Sengoku model, which has a partial asymmetrical appearance, though none of the parts from either kit overlap, so you won't suddenly get a symmetrical fit by having both, you'll just have... more asymmetry. All the plastic is grey, while the Spinatio parts are black, so you'll have to paint them yourself if you want them to match.
You get:
2 face masks that fit onto Spinatio type heads (samurai mask and gas mask)
2 lower arm armor parts
1 'welcome to the rice fields' conical hat that the gas mask fits into
1 two-part dragon head/shield with moving fangs and a shield adapter part
1 set of 30MM skirt parts (front/back and sides)
1 massively oversized shoulder pauldron with 3mm hard points and a C-clip anchor
1 rocket-that-is-also-an-arm with a cone nose, a vernier, a simplified claw-hand and four ball-to-ball joint parts to go between the segments in order to articulate it
All in all a fun addition to the 30MM collection. It's slightly annoying that you don't get 2 dragon shields, arms and shoulders, while the kit also has parts that you just need one of each, so it's a little odd to buy two of these.
The "rocket" definitely feels like a couple of parts were thrown in there to round out the kit, but I can't really fault the idea either, it's kind of fun.
